About to write up a short story about this here. Check it out on our Piney Tribe Facebook page where I write daily about the life of the Piney in the beautiful New Jersey Pine Barrens. I inspires me to get up everyday. What does it inspire you to do?

When you go drop off books to the Tuckerton Seaport Museums gift shop you can’t just head back north without a drive down 7 bridges road. Sharing the the first bridge parking lot with young and old folks enjoying the salty breeze. Piney Tribe from the forest floor to the salty shore. For you ‘salty shore’ kids you can now get an autographed copy of New Jersey’s Lost Piney Culture at the Seaport Museum’s gift shop. What a way to spend a day off. Even better is to spend a life here in our neck of the woods. Chill in the air and a WAWA coffee in the mug…

Great day ending thankfully with a cider donut ice cream treat from the @lblunchbox which is open until 7 pm Sundays. Batsto Country Living day was a blast. Got to put a face to the computer name of many Piney Tribe members today and added a bunch of new tribe members.

Great day hawking history along the Crosswicks Creek in Bordentown NJ. We got rained on so the event was cut short but still was a great book signing event. Seems there are Piney Tribe members living in Bordentown and I got to meet a few today. Plus a nice bonus is the event was a fundraiser for the fire department. And it was our first time a couple used us as an impulse buy test. Seems they were sold on the book after I talked to them but they don’t impulse buy meaning they left empty handed and walked around a bit before coming back because they still wanted the book after thinking on it lol. We passed the test I guess. Tomorrow is Batsto Country Living Festival which we’ll be there from 10-4pm. Weather is going to be even nicer for this outdoor event. Hope to see some of you tomorrow we even welcome impulse buyers…just saying.

Working on some pineycraft materials for an upcoming special wreath workshop down in Egg Harbor Township. Not many Pineys out there making wreaths the way we used to. When I say I’ve made thousands of these I’m not lying and it’s probably tens of thousands. Life of a Piney.
